Are you a teen who dreams of being a writer and would like free advice from a professional? In preparation for Denton Writes 2010, Denton Public Library’s creative writing contest, the North Branch Library is offering a two-part writing workshop for teens, presented by local author and poet, Nancy Carpenter Czerw. The workshop will take place at the North Branch, 3020 N. Locust, on Wednesday, March 31 and Wednesday, April 7 from 4:30 to 5:30. Registration is required.

Mrs. Czerw requests a writing sample prior to the workshop. This will give her insight into each participant’s writing style so she may tailor the workshop to those attending. Instructions for submitting writing samples will be given at the time of registration.
