North Branch StoryTime – Boxes!
Join us at the North Branch Library on Friday, April 19 at 11am for our weekly StoryTime. Our StoryTime classes are free for ages 1-5 and their caregivers, and no registration is necessary. Read-Along StoryTime at the North Branch Library
Join us for our StoryTime for children who are just learning to read. At each program, a librarian will read an easy reader book while each child follows along with a copy of the book in-hand or on a projector screen. Each session will also include literacy-based games, a craft, and/or a simple writing activity.
Our next session will be held Wednesday, April 17 at 6:30 p.m. at the North Branch Library, 3020 N. Locust St. We will read I Wish That I Had Duck Feet by Dr. Seuss as a group and we will also be reading Yes Day! by Amy Krouse Rosenthal. This program is free and is best for children in Pre-K-2nd grade, and there is no requirement for reading ability.

Plant a Seed StoryTime at the North Branch Library
Get ready for Earth Day and Arbor Day with plant and tree-themed stories, songs and rhymes. Plant a Seed StoryTime will be on Tuesday, April 16 at 7 p.m. at the North Branch Library, 3020 N. Locust St. After StoryTime, we will plant our own seeds to take home. This program is best for ages 1-5, but the whole family is welcome.

Laughs and Crafts at the North Branch Library
Need to unwind after a hard day at school? Join us as we read funny picture books and make fun crafts. This month, we will celebrate National Poetry Month by reading works by Shel Silverstein, including A Giraffe and a Half and selected poems, followed by a poetry activity. Laughs and Crafts meets on Monday, April 15 at 4 p.m. at the North Branch Library, 3020 N. Locust St. This program is free and is best for children in grades K-3rd.
