Attract Butterflies to Your Garden
There is more to creating a butterfly garden than just planting pretty flowers. The butterfly garden also needs plants that encourage females to lay their eggs and plants that provide food and shelter for their larvae. Nita Thurman will discuss the specific plants and flowers that should be included in a garden to support butterflies during different stages of their metamorphosis. She will also share successful techniques for attracting and keeping butterflies in your garden on Saturday, May 18 at 3 pm at the Emily Fowler Central Library, 502 Oakland.
