Anglo-Saxon Herbal Healing Practices

Are there healing remedies the Anglo-Saxons knew about that we could use today? Join us at the Emily Fowler Central Library, Saturday, September 1, 2012, at 10 am as Dr. Susan Perry shares the results of her research of the Anglo-Saxon Lancnunga a herbal healing text and a book of superstitions. Her presentation will highlight the superstitious and beneficial herbal remedies found within the text. Dr. Susan Perry is a member of the English faculty at Capella University, Texas Woman’s University and the University of Washington D.C.
