The Secret of the Fortune Wookiee

Tom Angelberger’s new book, The Secret of the Fortune Wookiee comes out on August 7 and can now be put on hold in our catalog.  Hurry up and get your name on the list!   Fortune Wookiee is the third installment in Angleberger’s Origami Yoda series, and we will celebrate the new title release with an Origami Yoda Party at 3pm on  August 7 at the North Branch Library.

New Book Club for Adults

Are you all grownup but still love reading young adult books? Join other adult fans of YA literature at the Amazing YA Book Club on Tuesday, August 7 at 7:00 p.m. at the Emily Fowler Central Library, 502 Oakland Street. We will kick off this book club with a discussion of The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. Which characters were your favorites, what did you like and dislike about the series, and how does the movie compare to the book? May the odds be ever in your favor!
