Volunteer Fair at the Library

Are you looking for a new challenge or to share your knowledge with others? The Denton Public Library wants to match enthusiastic and dedicated volunteers with a variety of projects in need of their skills.

A library volunteer fair will be held on Saturday, January 21st from 2:00pm to 4:00pm at the North Branch Library located at 3020 North Locust Street. This is an opportunity to find out what types of volunteer jobs are available and share your interests with the librarians to see if you can be matched to the perfect position. Volunteer positions are available covering a wide variety of interests including computer instruction, outreach to child care centers, assisting with both adult and children programs and adult literacy tutors.

When:             Saturday, January 21st at 2:00 p.m.

Where:           Denton Public Library – North Branch

                        3020 North Locust in Denton

There is no charge to attend.
