Ask Emily: Drop-in Technology Help

September 28, 2011 at 4:54 pm Leave a comment

The library now offers drop-in technology help in addition to regularly scheduled computer classes. On the first Monday of each month at the Emily Fowler Central Library, 502 Oakland Street, from 3 to 5 pm, Library staff & volunteers will be on hand to answer your questions.

We can help with specific problems you have encountered when working with Microsoft Office applications, surfing the Web, using the library databases or catalog, downloading audio or eBooks. No registration is necessary, and you can come anytime during the open hour. Bring your portable device or flash drive containing the document you’re working on.

For more information, contact Laura Douglas, Public Services Librarian, at (940) 349-8749 or at Laura.Douglas@cityofdenton.com.
