Basic Knitting Program for Adults

April 21, 2011 at 10:55 am Leave a comment

Due to popular demand, the Denton Public Library is offering more classes for adults who never learned to knit or who learned long ago and have forgotten how to do the basic stitches.  A series of Adult Basic Knitting classes will be held at the Emily Fowler Central Library from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. on four Thursdays in May (May 5, 12, 19, and 26).

During the course of the four classes, Joanne Pullman will demonstrate basic stitches and how to read patterns.  Yarns and needles will be provided for practice, but feel free to bring supplies from your own “stash” if you have one.

To register or for more information, contact Mary Cresson, Public Services Librarian, at 940-349-8753 or at Mary.Cresson@cityofdenton.com
