The Road to the Promised Land

In celebration of Black History Month, North Branch Library presents The Road to the Promised Land: Martin Luther King Jr. & the Civil Rights Movement. This Humanities Texas exhibit will be on display from February 1 to February 28 during library hours. It surveys the Civil Rights Movement from the emergence of Martin Luther King Jr. in the Montgomery bus boycott of 1955 through the 1990s. There is no charge to view the exhibit.
