Are you a teen photographer looking for an opportunity to show off your skills? Here’s your chance to gain some exposure! The Denton Public Library announces EXPOSURE, a photography contest for teens in grades 6 through 12.
To enter the contest, which runs now through Dec. 1, submit an 8 x 10 inch print of your work to any Denton Public Library location. Photos may be in color or black and white. Winning photos will be chosen from each of the following categories: people, animals, nature/landscape, action/sports and digitally altered. Participants may submit only one entry per category. All photos will be on display at the North Branch Library throughout December.
A winner will be named in each category and displayed on the Denton Public Library Blog. First through third place photos will be printed in the Denton Record Chronicle and the photographers will receive photography related prizes. For more details and a complete list of rules pick up a brochure at your school library, local DPL library, or go to www.dentonlibrary.com.
