Little Quack Counts by Lauren Thompson
While exploring their neighborhood one afternoon, Little Quack and his sister, Piddle, count all the wonderful things they see, such as beautiful butterflies and busy bees, before finally returning home to the one they love, Mama Duck.

Tattooed Librarians?
Every year the Texas Library Association puts together a calendar. You would assume that the calendars would be about books or have pretty pictures of libraries on them. Well, as you know, in Texas we like to do everything bigger and better! This year, the theme is the Tattooed Ladies of TLA!
It should come as no surprise that one of our own Denton Public Library employees is featured in this calendar. Sian Brannon is our Technical Services Manager and is responsible for all the great databases, text messaging services, and some other technological improvements we’ve made over the past year.
To see more tattooed librarians, please visit http://www.txla.org/temp/tattoo.html
