February’s First Friday Family movie at the South Branch Library is Shrek the Third (PG). Shrek, Donkey and Puss-in-boots have another mission – to find the next rightful heir to the Kingdom. Hunt Monsters With Nick Redfern

Denton Area Paranormal Society and North Branch Library presents Nick Redfern, Monster Hunter, January 15 from 7:00 to 9:00 at the North Branch Library. Nick will talk about his new book, Memoirs of a Monster Hunter, which chronicles his pursuit of vampire-like Chupacabras of Puerto Rico, the Goat-Man of Lake Worth, Texas, and many other strange happenings.
